Class of 2018 (GHS Seniors) Return

Senior Class iPad Return will take place between May 29 and June 15, 2018

During the first two weeks of the return period (May 29-June 8) iPads can be returned to the iPad Resource Room, E207. During the last week of the return period (June 11-15), stations will be set up in the GHS auditorium foyer to accept the iPads during student lunch periods.

Students will receive an email with instructions on how to prepare the iPad for return.

Here are a few important notes:

  • The charging cable and adapter block should be returned along with the iPad.

  • If the iPad is damaged/cracked or not functioning and you have insurance, it can be returned anytime during iPad collection with no fee.

  • If the iPad is damaged/cracked and you do not have insurance, the student will need to bring a $50 check (to cover repairs) along with the iPad when he/she returns it.

  • If the iPad is lost or unrepairable (black screen), the student will need to bring a $100 check (replacement cost) during iPad collection.

  • If the iPad was stolen, and you have insurance, then the student must bring a police report to waive the $100 charge.

  • Please make checks payable to:  Glastonbury Public Schools.

Note: Class of 2018 iPads will be permanently disabled after July 31st. They will have no value to the user. They cannot be used even if erased. Refunds will not be issued for lost or stolen iPads found and returned after July 31.

If there are any questions or concerns with this process, students should stop into the iPad Resource Room, E207, where Jane Lewkowicz, iPad Support Specialist, will be happy to assist.
